Cashier

Sexy Fish, located in the heart of Mayfair, is an avant-garde dining destination celebrated for its opulent decor, innovative cuisine, and electric atmosphere. Responsibilities:

• Manage payments, including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and deposits, while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
• Ensure the cashier area is impeccably maintained, including cleanliness and organization.
• Adhere to strict cash-handling procedures and maintain accountability for all transactions, including cash, credit cards, AMEX, deposits, gift cards, petty cash, refunds, and other payment methods.
• Perform cash up reconciliation and finalize end-of-day procedures.
• Declare and bank cash takings, balance float (including organizing change).
• Report to General Manager and Back of House management.
• Follow financial policy procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a high-end and high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work gracefully under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with experience handling cash transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A passion for food and wine is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
