Gardener

We are seeking an experienced, passionate gardener to maintain and enhance a private property's green spaces.

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 8am – 5pm (60 min break to be taken during this time)

Salary: £50k per annum.

Location: SW London

Duties

· Responsible for managing day to day planting maintenance tasks inside and outside of property.

· Quality control of planting to ensure highest possible standards.

· Creating seasonal garden plans

· Dead heading of plants.

· Cleaning of plants and leaves.

· Collecting of additional plants when required from suppliers.

· Changing of over planting seasonally and as required.

· Ensuring all plants and pots are left tidy and clean, with no soil or mess left.

· Seasonal pruning of shrubs, climbers and trees.

· Pest & disease treatment.

· Ensuring plants are watered and management of irrigation system.

· Mulch of beds and improving of soil.

· Feeding programmes for all planting within garden.

· Keeping detailed records of treatments, planting schedules, and maintenance cycles

· Collecting of leaves and debris from garden.

· Cleaning and brushing of artificial grass.

· Assisting with positioning and maintenance of garden lighting.

· Assisting with cleaning of stone and hard paving.

· Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

· Discretion and confidentiality as essential requirements

· Being physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

· Taking full responsibility for the maintenance, improvement, and overall presentation of all external areas of the property, ensuring the gardens remain immaculate, and aligned with the family’s aesthetic preferences year-round.

· They should have good horticultural knowledge, a keen eye for detail and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

CLEAN, FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED
